In conjunction with the 2022 ISAZ conference, we are soliciting proposals for workshops to be held on July 6th or 10th, bookending the conference. Because we are transitioning to an online format, proposals that highlight how they will engage participants in activities via Zoom will receive preference.

Workshops can be on any variety of topics, ranging from career development, skill building, and special interest topics. Past workshops have featured statistics and research methods, humane education, human-wildlife conflict, One Health, and animal-assisted interventions.

Parties interested in organizing a workshop should complete this submission form

by 5pm ET April 30, 2022

Workshop slots will be limited. Proposals will be selected through a review process.

We are asking workshop organizers to indicate on the application whether charging attendees a workshop fee would be appropriate. Fees are typically associated with workshops that attract a public audience in addition to ISAZ members, as well as workshops that provide continuing education or training in a specialized area.

All workshops will be hosted by the host institution's Zoom pro account, allowing up to 300 attendees and unlimited time.

For your convenience, we have created these Workshop Proposal Guidelines that review the information requested on the submission form.

If you have any questions about the workshop proposal process, please contact us at conferences@isaz.net.
